The monumental 12th- century Bergkerk Church is situated in the old town area of Deventer, a 5 minute walk from the railway station. The church was adapted to host museum exhibitions  in 2017 and is up to museum standards regarding security, climate conditions and public facilities. In the summer of 2017 the exhibition Looted Art was on show in the Bergkerk.
